WHAT IS IT?
It is a group of men and women united to pray for Holy Ghost Parish and for the many special needs that come into the parish from a variety of people and places.
WHY ST. RITA OF CASCIA?
Devotion to St. Rita at Holy Ghost dates back to the earliest years of the church. The entryway, built in 1924, incorporated a small statue of St. Rita, and when Helen Bonfils completed the upper church in 1943, a side altar was built dedicated to the saint. St. Rita of Cascia is the patron saint of impossible cases, difficult marriages, and parenthood, and her values of peacemaking, healing, and forgiveness are needed every bit as much today as when the saint lived in the 15th century.
WHO CAN JOIN?
Any person who can be connected to the group and to the intentions through email or Flocknotes may join.
WILL THERE BE MEETINGS?
Yes, we will have prayer meetings every two months on Saturday mornings as announced in the bulletin and email.
